The 730 with 90k OMV sold for 250k. But the 630 coupe going at 280k with only 77k OMV. Well, I am not there yet.

It seems to me PML is putting the 6 in the niche category. At $77K OMV it very close to a 530i but you can see the price delta.
Niche category could really mean "buy one if you don't mind to be ripped off since one can afford it" kind.
This could also mean price stability. Case in point early adopters of 520i and all. I can see it coming on the e90 320i. The real deal in 325i but overpriced though.

Edlee, 630i $285K with NAV option as standard, no discount whatsoever. Looks like i need to be "in the know" hor!

Yeah, Zag; you've definitely got to be there. I just negotiated a fantastic discount for a friend of mine today. He'll be joining the ever growing list of E60 owners before mid April.

Anyway, I find that the E60 is becoming too familiar a sight on our roads. In my opinion, it is now as common as the E46. Even the Schnitzer kit equipped E60 is seen almost everywhere. I thought the price of the kit would be a discouraging factor making my ride different, but this is not the case. Very sad. Anyway, I'm gonna keep my chin up and drive on for at least another 3 years before I finally make a change. The loss that I will suffer should I persist in my habit of changing cars every 12 - 15 months will definitely be a factor to consider.

Actually considering the 6 as a replacement for my E46, maybe this time next year. However, having 2 cars with the same power rating really doesn't make good sense. Anyway I've still got a long way to go before deciding; maybe the 650 will be out by then. The M series are definitely out of the equation.

Edlee, i do understand how you feel. Well, you may consider selling your ACS kit (I'm sure there are many E60 owners in spore dying to have it) and change to a hamann kit. The hamann kit looks gorgeous and it's more 'rare' compared to ACS. Just a suggestion though..

Just an update on bluetooth.

Yesterday I tried my friend's Motorola E680 with the E60 bluetooth and it works quite well. Able to pair, make and receive calls.

The Moto E680 is quite a nice little PDA phone, based on Linux, a little like the SE 910i, but doesn't have a keyboard. Nice screen and camera, and not too expensive, about $550.

I didn't try to see if the phone book will upload though

Still trying to get my Siemens S65's phonebook to upload. Apparently it can take up to an hour . Problem is I never spend that much time in the car at one stretch. Perhaps on my drive up to Sepang.....

MORNING DRIVE TO MALACCA ON MARCH 25TH, 2005. MOVING OFF FROM RAFFLES MARINA AT ABOUT 0630HR.

So far, the E60 is poorly represented. Only ONE, one E39 525 and a few E46.

Anyone else interested?

Hey BMW530, I have never felt better after viewing the E90 earlier. The floating eyes of the angles are indeed very nice, thats the highlight of the D3, but thats about all. As a whole, the E90 is disappointing, no increase in the heart beat when the car was unveiled.

I share your opinion. The few features that caught my eye on the 325i is the neater aircon control (digital readout), very neat cd/dvd console; bluetooth phone fully fitted minus cradle pending owners choice of phone and aux-in in the centre arm-rest. The "floating" angel-eye actually looks like spectacle ring over an eye-ball.....

Ok people. Finally!!!

Here is a sneak peak at our very much long awaited car decal. Take note that the headlamps are redrawn and not a cut and paste. When its printed out, it'll be swee swee and not blur.
