So, has anyone gotten their Bluetooth handsfree activated yet? What's the deal with PML? From the other threads that I've read, there seems to be a pretty high price difference in activating it (considering it;s only a software activation) here in Singapore. I've been quoted over S$2k from PML.... and I picked up my car in 07/04.

I was wondering too. I checked some info; it looks like more hardware are needed. Our cars are "prep"; the question is whether are they already there? (which I doubt so) or "prep" just means the necessary wirings are there only. Some are easy to access (in the left side of the trunk). Maybe the bluetooth antenna is also not there yet.

I spoke to the parts guys at PML again. Looks like even for our cars with prep, there's still quite a lot of work. Apparently 10hrs worth. The BT retrofit will take 2 days. Work includes connecting up the antenna, software update. installing some cables and connecting up the microphone. I've been told, they've done at least 5 fits including one of the Siemens Singapore bigwig's car.
Total cost is $2200, this price is with GST.

There's a two week wait after placing the order for the parts to come in. You'll have to let them know which cradle to get, depending on the phone you want to use.

Spoke to parts guy at PML Alexander about M kit. Told me not ready for order yet as PML is currently testing the kit for E60 conditioned for Singapore. Also, told me if ready, must order entire kit and cannot order just the bumper. I am only interested in the front bumper. Looks like got to stick to my current stock bumper which in actual fact, is not too bad either.

Sent my car in for software update last monday. Got it back the same day.

Startup shudder gone, jerky upshift gone and side mirrors now fold in when the lock button is depressed longer.
