no la..i think too late.....mine was slated for dec production.

anyway i was told....they make nothing from options....prices r from munich...not controlled by pml...
hi 530i,
do you know if pml has a quote for 545i should one interested in indenting one?
roadtax aside... i'd think that 545i would come fully spec and would be one of the mean machines on sg roads.
jez curious that if u have ever toyed with the idea of a 545i given those options you loaded up on your 530i. hehehe!

cheers

hi zag...pml has confirmed that they will not bring in the 545i....it clashes wif their 7s....will eat into sales...no plans for moment...wun even do special indent. i chked liow....

i wanted smg for my 530...they wun even entertain that. the 530 is already eating into 730 sales...thats why they lelong the 730 b4 the 5s were launched at 270k....

after 5s launched...they r selling 730s at 265 if u take loan....that is cheaper than my car wif higher omv! but the 730s will not hv DD n active steering of cos...no roller blinds...no xenon....just the comfort seats....some wood also missing...

initially i felt peeved by it...but now i dun feel too bad after finding out about the missing luxuries.

thks for the insight... for my limited market knowledge i am surprised 530i poses threat to 7 market share. for what i know sg'n would normally go for 'value for money' therefore 730i actually is darn good one

incidently last week i did some digging in pml website on the e65 variants and their respective options and one doesn't get real treat until he hits a 745iL...
also sitting in one the other day notice the amount of buttons and gadgets in the e65 cockpit is amazing.... for better or worse the lack of it in the e60

btw do you know if xenon headlites are rare occurances even on the e65? i never own e39 but do those recent e39 executives edition sport xenon headlites?

from yr previous posts.... are you still driving the m3? are you going to miss it when yr e60 arrives?

cheers

I have encountered 2 occasions on which I could not pull the seat belt to buckle on after I started the engine and had to restart the engine to be able to put on the seat belt. Anyone had the same encounter? By the way, is there any electronics involved in monitoring the seat belt of tensioners? Kind of strange!

On the active steering, I do not quite feel it anymore as I have gotten use to it. Also, the accelerator pedal seems to be more firm and not so light as I clocked more mileage. The engine also seems to sound better now. So far, have clocked only 750 km. Still far from the run-in distance of 2000 km.

The car is amazing in its maneuvrebility and ease of use! No wonder the Straits Times voted the E60 the Best Big Executive Saloon!

1st...yes i miss the M3 already....but i hv no regrets ridding myself off the burden..mind u, one can actually drive the m3 sedately...no issue at all..its just that the insurance cost here is crazy.

735 n 745 has xenon only. e39 only when the last model came out...which is the limited edition (meaning by it be the 360 comes out!)....pml sold a lot of them at 170 upwards....even the 520s had shades as well.

then suddenly u find that the when the e60 arrives..the base 520 dun even offer it...not too kind r they?

I have just taken the photos of the auburn interior in the day. It looks more like the actual color. However, I would say the actual auburn interior looks better.

Hey 530i,

You are not going for the HUD? I am waiting to see this breakthrough technology. Can't imagine it works on broad day light. If you have that, we must really see!!!
