my dad used to drive MBs too. then when he tried my e46, he quickly became a bmw fan n changed to a bmw. he says MB cannot be compared to bmw when it comes to driveability ..... 
as for me, i dun think i will ever let myself own a MB. even if i do, it has to be an SL n it will hve to join my bmw in my stable...

Lambo, now that's a different story, the fact that they are owned by Audi, makes them very desirable indeed. I think over time, they will give Porsche a good fight.

Oops.
. guess i started the marque comparo comment here... before we get carried away and the thread solicits flaming from other marque die hard and eventually bush fire and this thread will get locked by Lomag from further posting let's get back to e60 world... 
olivin530 and i will be meeting with PML after sales service #1 man to try to work on the warning message on i-drive tomorrow Sept 8. we suppose to meet at 9:30am at alexandra PML center. toto and eggz wanna arm along?
e60 rules but get rid of the warning message on idrive first.

Hey guys; who's this no 1 guy you meeting up with? If its other than Charlie Brown, I'll definitely try to find the time. Would like to hear your problems and possible rectifications before my ride eventually comes in.

Was at the A6 launch last sunday taking a look at the quattro 3.2 litre. Haven't test driven yet. may be this week. For the interior, i give to Audi, just the cup holder itslef will put the bimmer to shame. The finishing is very refine at first impression!
As for the MMI, lots of button surrounding the knob...kinda defeat the purpose, when one spent couple of hours with a car and at that instance have to learn to figure out the i-drive, you can see pretty well why everyone who writes the review finds it challenging.

Nobody at Premium Auto could answer my question as to why not the 3.2L FSI.

This mtg is supposed to be jus me and Robert Friend
!I was talking to a senior w/s manager and he passed many of my comments to RF. Now they want to hear me out and I thought I could rope one of our kakis in as well, despite being reminded that it would be a private casual chat
.I was looking forward to see what comes out of this coz, AFAIK, perhaps only Zag and myself have 12.2 in our ride and thus the annoying Acceptance message.
