I'll probably do the Tail this year and commit pilgrimage to Spartanburg, SC (especially, since I've lived there some years ago) - just want to be sure my car is all done up with the mods and service before I do this.

 

Gonna get a set of the Hankooks or other summer performance tires for TOD? Now you've got the brakes to tackle it.

 

I did not use my DSLR, due to snow and fog. Lighting conditions weren't ideal wen I drove the Dragon at 11pm and 7:30am Besides, I was driving solo, so there was no companion to take pictures while on the go.

Our TOD trip this spring joins South East Shark Fest as usual. It will be held at the Performance Center this year, so we'll get a twofer. Maybe even some BMW PC track time.

I've been to the TOD 7 times for a total of 46 runs. We now go crazy fast where we can. I still don't know every turn but I remember sections of it.
Here are a couple pics of the 550i's first runs on the Dragon.

 

We have one New Yorker coming down for SESF in late April/early May in his 135i. Will be lots of BMWs on the lawn at the Zentrum on May 1. Good time to come if you can.
