E60 Rear Door lock saga Continues been 2 years Please Help
hi there Guys
E60 Pre LCI 2005
i really hope someone can help me. i will list the previous situation so you will understand.
I vinyl wrapped the car and had removed the handles to do so. i finished wrapping the car and
put everything together. Two weeks no problem then suddenly rear door stopped opening from
inside or out. After a while eventually i smashed into the lock and replaced with a new lock.
The door opened and closed perfectly then WTH i plugged in the electrical connector and BOOM
Deadlocked again. Please Help
Can someone help me locate the problem?
What module controls the rear door locks and could set off the deadlock?
thank you in advance

Is it the module.. or is the catch coming off? Often I've had come "fixed" peoples problems with doors and locks.. because they had the window down and when they move it, it knocks pieces apart.. but always mechanically the inside handle worked.. Bummer!

i got the door opened. i unhooked the outside handle from the lock and the inside handle is now fully working and opens the door. i reattach the outside handle and it deadlocked again.
