i couldn't find him either but that was because i did a keyword search. i had to do a user search instead.

here is the link he provided:

http://shop.ebay.com/bmwnavmaps1/m.h..._from=&_ipg=25

i quickly bought the west region version for $24.98 (US) free shipping.

The problem with burned disc is there is no guarantee it will work on your car yet it may work on other cars. I sent out some burned copies to several forum members which work perfectly with my pre-lci idrive ( tested it before mailing it out for free, no scam here) but it didn't work for them. If someone can find that old thread with the torrent link in it, it listed different ways to burn it but I used imageburn and cheap memorex dvd-r disc and both mine and my sister's worked.

That seller has gotten excellent reviews from the 3er folks ever at e90post. ( i spend more time there) His feedback reflects this too. It's probably just your car that's sensitive to the discs. For 24 bucks, and 7-day return policy, you have nothing to loose. Sure beats paying 200 at the stealer! Although you can always torrent it.

well i guess too bad i don't have an e90. not.

i just copied my original nav dvd using nero, and it works just fine. might have just been a bad burn but he refunded my money so that's the end of that. i do value my time, as time = money, so it wasn't totally nothing to lose, IMHO.

a friend of mine ordered from the same guy at the same time as me.

she just got her dvd yesterday and i tried it in my car today and it worked.

i then tried the one i got in her car, and it did not work.

so it looks like i just got a bum dvd. i received an immediate refund but am still with no updated nav dvd though.

I just downloaded the 2011 disc, burned it at x3 and it works flawlessly in my e60 (whos iDrive i suspect is still running on the old software version, as I cannot enter a full postcode yet). Bargain at £0!
