We have loads of E60's here in our Police forces. E46 touring's are a common site too. As are Impreza's, EVO's (mainly up in the north). All of these cars are used as Traffic Police cars. I.e. The ones that do the chases on the motorways etc as they have speed. However, some of the E60's here are used as ARV units. (Armed Response Vehicles).

This would truly be a rarity stateside as I believe most police departments are required by federal law to only buy American made cars for their fleets. IT IS TRUE.. THE JEWISH police in ny.. have lights on cars.. i saw a prius yesterday the same way.. there in there own little world.. but nick you are 100% on seeing an e60 with lights on it.. they respond only to there own kind..
