Just curious. But do the e60 police cars come with a higher horse power than a regular 530i for example?
Does anyone have any pictures of them. I'm sure they look stunning and especially on a high speed chase!!!

I think a lot more hp than the 530's 255hp...maybe 500hp?
(Mirrors look like regular E60 though)

of course the guy who did it did not know that E60 m5 has diff mirrors, side sills on regular e60s, look at the light-bridge (siren) it is not 100%ly correctly attached on the top the gap at the left part is bigger than the other size

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.
Use of high-performance 5 series cars (and BMW bikes too) for Euro police cruisers dates back at least 20 years. Ironically, during the mid 80's Hi-perf 5s were considered the bombers car of choice, as their rear (and strong) independent rear suspension could easily support a couple hundred pounds of explosives in the trunk without showing any "squat" or attracting attention.
