I remember some PD such as montana, having a single M3 or M5.? How did that work?

Heezy, I remember that story. As I recall, they either confiscated it as part of a drug bust and were allowed to keep it, putting it to work on the force, or they bought it with drug money they confiscated.

There are a lot of 5 series police cars in the UK most of them E39's but now there are some E60's on the road. They use the 530d and have it chipped as it gives the performance and economy blend they need. I also read somwhere that the police were used as a test bed for the 535d engine as well.

It should be a Port Authority,Nassau or Suffolk County PD RMP they all make top pay of nearly 100k per year! They can afford it!?

Actually, Nassau and Suffolk are _average_ pay of just under 100k. And that was a few years ago. (It hasn't gone down, of that you can be sure).

Hence the word "nearly". With a little OT they break it.

Oh. I guess we are saying the same thing. I understood your original post to mean that the pay topped out at just under 100k. Everything I read showed that as an average, meaning half make more than that. (Then, of course, after a few years and promotions the average went to around $114K.) Not bad money for blocking highway entrances at rush hour to do "random vehicle seat belt checks."

I remember reading this in Newsday when Gulotta was on his way out as County Supervisor. That was the big article that led to all the Newsday trucks suddenly getting speeding tickets on the LIE.

If they can't break it, no one can

Look at the rear plate handle. It has plate handle of european style plates.

Nice try but not close!
