Default E60 PDC failure fixed but still got range issues

Got a PDC failure mssg from i Drive 2 weeks ago and diagnosed it by putting finger on each sensor.
Front bumper, driver’s side far right one was dead.
So I bought used one and took the headlight off and replaced it over the weekend and PDC system is now working.
But it seems like the replaced sensor got a range problem.
It always throws low frequency beep sounds when the PDC is engaged nevertheless there is enough clearance in front of the bumper.
Looking at the iDrive, Geen >> Yellow >> Yellow range light lit... not until red..

One of the culprit that I am thinking is, I did the repair in a garage with not enough space in from of the bumper and powered up the system there.
So I am considering taking the sensor off and re-connect in a wide open area... or swap left and right to see if it detects the range correctly.

Any clue or similar experience?
I also did the PDC reset, by holding PDC button for 10 sec and then start the motor while the button is pressed.
By the way, where should be the key position when the PDC button is pressed for 10 sec?

Did you fix this? I would assume key should be all the way turned, the place just before you start engine.

Hi there.

Thanks for the input.
I think I fixed it.
I simply unplugged the connector and then re-plugged it with key position you mentioned.
