I crawl a close 2nd to JDN
Check my birthday; I am the oldest by far.
Is that for real?
Hi Rudy:

No, I wanted to enter my birth month and day, but, for minor annonymity, I did not want to put my real birth year. So, .... Thanks for asking; it would have been interesting had I really been that old. I am in the old dude category, though. Interesting there are at least 5 of us old dudes. Who are the rest? Come on guys/gals fess up. I am hopefully a tad wiser than at even, say, 40, but I still like the same things that I liked at 20 and younger (and new things).
Ok, Vnod I confess. I too was born before Pearl Harbor. However you and I have two of the same cars even the same years. Hope you enjoy your rides as much as I do.

Joe
Hi Joe:

I looked back; couldn't tell--what's your other matching car? No matter what they won't be able to accuse us of mid-life crises.
'02 Vette. Mag Red

No, my mid-life crisis began when I was 25, and is still going strong, as long as there are drugs.

Joe
Good one Joe. Mine started at 30 and lasted longer than I'd care to mention, but I think its over now. Enjoy the Vette. I do, although lately it has been feeling very jealous. I am going off-line now. It's way past my bedtime. ~{;^) Ma?ana all.

I think JDN is our most senior member...
Yep, they always top the poll brackets too short.

Us old "dudes" are slow so don't count the age brackets until this poll has been out for at least 6 months. Give us time to read and comprehend
Yeah, and it's quite possible that they're not sure which mouse button to use so that their vote is counted properly!
Hey... cobradav is from FL... I think they are still counting there, aren't they?
So it doesn't matter what he votes for...
I'm not sure my "dimple" was counted properly - I demand a recount

Not saying my actual age, but I was programming IBM 370 computers in the late 60's and have surfed the internet for 18 years now. Also built 8 bit computers and talked to them with TTY punch tape in machine code. These were all hobbies too.
I don't appreciate youngsters of 40 or less thinking that older people can't even operate a computer. All I see now is kids playing computer games and IM'ing each other yet claiming they know how operate a computer way better because older people aren't wasting their time doing those same things.
I also see too many forum messages from people complaining about little things in the E60 and blaming BMW. Many of them are so young that they only owned a couple of cars before getting their E60 and can't appreciate all that the car offers.

Spot on. Not only that, but I can still do binary, octal, hex, binary coded gray, as well as decimal math in my head without aid of calculator and remember what real steel sounded like on my '49 Plymouth sedan and 52 Ford pickup
