hi all, please look at attached picture, can anyone tell me what are the two boxes attached to the bottom of the light, one with yellow sticker , one is withou- sorry for what might be a stupid question to you guys in the know

 

sorry forgot to add that i have bought some lamps that have the box with the yellow sticker attached but not the other silver box, what is that for and is it optional rather than necessary ? many thanks in advance

 

yellow sticker i belive is xenon ballast any one correct me if im wrong

 

the other box i have no idea

 

Could be a control unit for adaptive lighting. Only guessing at that though.

 

thats my guess to Dandle, but i'm not sure,

 

One the xenon ballast with the yellow sticker, the other is the adaptive function controller

 

if you dont have the box to control the adaptive function, and do not use it in a retrofit, can you still adjust the headlamp level from within the car???
