Picked up OE xenon headlights online. When I plugged them in the low beam xenon light would not turn on. All other lights worked fine. Any suggestions?

Is your car originally with halogen lights?

If your orginial have halogen light only, need to coding after change to Xenon.
No need for coding but it is not as easy to just swap out the lights. You need to do a couple of steps first, which are a little time consuming.
1) You need to ground the ballast. If you look at the plug for the headlights, there is an extra connection for the xenon lights. This connection is the ground wire for the ballast. You will need to add this.
2) Install a capacitor inside the headlight assembly. Xenon's have a different voltage than halogen. The CLM (control light module) on the halogen is different than the xenons. BMW will tell you need a new CLM if you make this swap. This is expensive and would be the OEM way to do it. If you install a capacitor, , then there is no need for a new CLM.
See this thread for more info: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...hl=successfully
3) Last step - splice two wires together to make everything work properly.
The thread above gets into more details, which is needed
