Hi Guys,
Im not sure what the part is called or the part number-

I need the 2 plastic inserts that are on either side of the front bumper. They snap in place next to the air ducts for the front brakes.

Can anyone provide the part numbers for the 2 pieces?

thanks!

Grid left (12) and Grid right (13) on this diagram:

Special grids are needed for Active Cruise Control (14) and Night Vision (39), if equipped.

As a heads up on these, if you ever hit the underside of the front bumper (on a oprking lot stop for example) THAT is when these come loose. They drop right off and if you are mindful of it, you can get out, pick it back up and snap it into place again! Just a note to help out a fellow E60 member!

Yes, and yes. I've replaced both of these, at different times. I have only touched the parking stop once or twice, and did get out to check the bumper and grille, only to find no problems. Then at some random time, the grille would be missing.

Also, just as an FYI, the replacement grille pieces are different, or "partially open". My original OE pieces had the crosshatch on them, but the back was closed, meaning no air flow through. The new pieces are open on the inward half, and closed on the outboard half.

I've heard of these parts getting stolen.
