Like someone said about Lexus.. it is a dressed up Toyota... nothing wrong with that but be ready for that.. it drives as if it is on marshmallows..
I have had Audis for 10 years before I got the BMW.. I had the A6 with 2.7T engine and that was a blast to drive... the new Audis are not so nice to drive anymore.. The 3.0T is nice but it is a supercharged engine and relatively new.. I went to buy an Audi and after driving the new ones.. I stuck to my old one till I drive the 535.. and I was reformed..

on a spec sheet....they are in the same class....quality, fit & finish wise, the M series platform has notorious problems. i had to do a competitive analysis on the M series for a client about 1.5 years ago and dug up a lot of info on them. perhaps by the time they M37 hit the scene Infiniti had put in place drastic new quality controls but the first gen was a big problem...
