Here is an installation guide for Sylvania's LED resistor:

Hi
Thanks again for all the inputs thus far.

With regards to Sylvania's LED resistor method, it seems the resistor is in parallel DIRECTLY to the LED (AE/DRL) lamp, however in my case, I have an inverter (box/circuit) between the LED lamp and where I am supposed to insert the resistor. And as such, looks a bit tricky as to exactly where to insert the resistor...

With regards to coding method, I found this:
I need to disable the cold/warm bulb checks:
In LMA module
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L
nicht_aktiv
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R
nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L
nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R
nicht_aktiv

As well as these (disable warning) :
FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_L
nicht_aktiv
FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_R
nicht_aktiv

Hmmm.... decisions, decisions....

It looks like you have 2 solid solutions to your problem. Either way will work. Let us know what you chose to do and how it went.

Hi All,

Went the coding route.
At first tried using NCSExpert to code it out with the settings I had in the above thread.... didn't work
Then I tried using Carly, under Lighting Warnings/LMA module to code it out, I think it was Headlight warning/error--> No, and also eyebrows error/warning-->No. That did the trick, no more chimes and iDrive warnings on my dash. Fingers crossed that it will stay that way for the next few days of observing...

Thanks again for everyone's input much appreciated
Cheers

That's good stuff. Glad you got it figured out. Be careful with using Carly I've seen horror stories but I am sure they have improved the app
