Yes all E60 are same...M5/525i.

 

great. a guide on how to take them out would be awesome. i don't want to scratch the holders/trim around it

 

I dont have a guide to take them out, maybe someone else may have one, but all you need is a tiny flat head, they all come out the same. Once you figure one out, you can figure them all out. If you dont find a guide before you start, you can simply pop the one in the trunk out under the rear shelf, that way you have an idea of what to do, w/o damaging anything.

 

yeah all the ones in the small plastic casing seem to be fine, not sure about the front and middle consoles tho, looks like you need a plastic pry tool to get them out right.

 

how about the licence plate bulbs what type are they?
some places have them as 37mm and some as 39mm festoon.
which is it?

 

question, would these throw up any errors in general, or does these LED's need to have resistors or can-bus error free packs attactched to them?????

I installed 37mm the other day and they fit, although 39mm will fit also since it is festoon. (only 2mm difference) Also in the foot wells....

 

That looks nice, red lights front, blue in back, white lights on top. Did you just change out the LEDs or did you add anything else?

 

Just LEDS. Nothing else.
