I believe this was asked before here or at the bimcoding forum. I think it doesn't stay saved or is only temporary and then reverts back to factory settings. Either way I'm no expert and recommend doing a search for more info, kuen.

Yes, the idle RPM can be set in DIS v57 (probably INPA too) as I just did this a couple of months ago in a 05 645. If I am remembering right it can be increased about 50-100 RPM. And it did stay permanent.

Thanks, Strobeprobey, the problem is that I cannot find any sub title under the N62 engine to adjust the idle. Can you share under which sub title in the DIS v57?

I couldn't remember off-hand the path in DIS, but I did find this on another forum:
1. Select Digital Engine Management (displaying the DME diagnosis ID screen)
2. Select =>
3. Select "3 Service functions" then =>
4. Select "20 Idle speed adjustment" then =>
5. Current idle speed adjustments are displayed
6. Select =>
7. Menu of idle speed adjustment options is displayed.
8. Select an adjustment option from the menu and select =>
9. DIS will prompt you to perform certain operations, such as start engine.
10. After selecting => a screen displaying current engine speed and temperature will be displayed. At this point the engine speed can be increased or decreased in steps of 10 RPM. The total adjustment window is ±100 RPM.
11.Once the desired engine speed is obtained the new value must be stored. Once the new value is stored select the back arrow and the new idle speed adjustment setting will be displayed.

I wanna say my idle isn't exactly 750.. it's a little over the 500 mark so probably 600 or more.. but that's when it's warmed up and in shifter in P or N. is that too low? recently cleaned my MAF sensor because i thought the idle was a little rough at times and gained 1 or 2 MPGs
