Thumbs up

Hello!
Prompt please, can I replace the glass in the headlamp as possible on e46? Most recently changed xenon lamp, and for that shot lights. After careful examination realized that glass removable, there are a few screws and latches as the e46!
And on ebay found here it is:

http://cgi.ebay.de/BMW-E60-E61-Scheinwerfer-Abdeckscheibe_W0QQitemZ170279376376QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item170279376376&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1229%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318#ebayphotohosting
Maybe those glass changed? Tired of polished glass!

Thanks friends

I think they are removable but you will need to bake it and apply sealant unlike plug play like E46.

There is no sealant! There is a slot in paze sealing gum and a few catches as the e46!

I wrote a letter to the seller, see what he would respond ...

thanks

Okay.. I thought that paze sealing gum is the sealant because it looks like it.
If the headlight is removable then can the orange reflective be removed w/o baking the headlight?

Please provide update

I have also asked that seller about how they install......and am taking pictures and my M5 to my crash shop next monday to ask him if he could do the job.

I have some nasty stone chips on mine - and my crash guy said DO NOT WET SAND THEM as it will strip the UV resistant film that is on the lights which stops all of the internals fading and cracking.

They do not need anything to heat one hundred percent! Glass removed without heat - I have already checked! The most important thing to know whether there are windows in the sale, if any, I just buy them and change them and posted the photo. This glass has seen only on ebay, so it leads one to ask ...

My friend bought a couple of years ago a used E46 which he came to show me before he made the deal.

The headlight glass (plastics) where in very bad shape so I told him that the dealers should change them
or no deal.

He did buy the car with brand new light clusters, so I don't think only the plastics can be changed,
otherwise the dealer would for sure have changed only them.
