e60 headlights

Hey everyone.. newbie here...
i have 2004 e60,and was thinking to upgrade my headlights to lci model ones.. as mine are std halogen ones..
i think from 2007 they have projector headlights.. anyway did anyone do this b4? what involves in that? lcm reprogram etc???
any help would be appreciated!
