E60 Gremlins

My Ride: E60 "Stripper"
Now C6 "Stripper"
When do you guys predict that BMW will work out the I-drive gremlins and other issues (cracked windshields, etc.) with our E60's?
Late 2004 for the 05 model year
Early to Mid 2005 for the 05 model year
Late 2005 for the 06 model year
2011 for the 2012 model year ( 2012 when an asteroid or comet will destroy the Earth)
OR
Just in time for the 6th Generation 2011/2012 5 series EXX?

Based on the lesson of the 2002 7 series I would expect that the 2005 should have most of the bugs worked out of it. I certainly hope so being that my car is currently in production. From what I recall the 2002 had to repeatedly brought in for software upgrades and other issues, most of which were resolved the second model year.
