Glovebox is okay but make sure you keep your vehicle registration & proof of insurance somewhere else. So if you get pulled over you don't have to go near the weapon in the presence of the LEO.

When I lived in a country where licensed weapons were allowed (and unfortunately needed), I always carried 9mm para on my person or in the drivers door pocket so it could be reached without a hijacker being easily able to see you do so whilst "obediently" exiting the car. It was ALWAYS removed and kept with me at all times when I left the car.
I may have mis-understood the thread here, but personally, I think storing a weapon in a vehicle is irresponsible no matter what gun safe/box you may have. If the car gets stolen and the swines have all the time in the world to open the safe/box it will be one more illegal gun on the streets and I couldn't sleep at night knowing I had contributed to an already bad situation....anyway, thats just my 5 cents.

I totally agree
It's stupid and irresponsible. I have mine on me at all times. Just like my american express card......I never leave home without it and that's no joke! Contributors

...we have enough illegal guns out in the street as it is. All you need is someone to break into your car looking for anything they can steal. I NEVER leave my gun in the car

I'm assuming the OP meant where do you keep your pistol in your e60 while you are in your car. Surely no firearms owners would be silly enough to leave their firearm all alone in their car.

This thread is a little bit....
I have a E61 and not an E60 so i can carry this in the car:
If i have a problem i just have to open the trun and fire at will!
"An armed society is a polite society."
Couldn?t disagree more.
An armed society is a society that wants to prevent problems with the help of a destructive device, instead of solving them by using the brain.
And with that it creates more problems...
This could go to a big writing issue and i really don?t want to bore you guys with that...

... my other passion is modding my guns

I have a few nice 1911 Colt Lightweight .45's, totally custom...I had someone else do 80% of the work - Dave Helton, gunsmith in Seattle, WA.
