Here's some interesting info from BMW UK briefing dealers on the LCI . Some great images also . Will be of great help to anyone considering or waiting on the LCI regardless of location. Look forward to the comments.

My Ride: 2004 545i / Orient Blue (I think) / Tan int / 116's Wheels / ... my favorite option, the HEATED steering wheel!
Previous cars retired:
2006 Corvette Z51, 2002 Corvette Coupe, 2002 Mustang, 1997 Maxima, 1994 Camry, 1990 Supra
None, and I mean none compare to this 545i. The 06 Corvette was faster, but not by much...

Many thanks- these are really useful. I am considering ordering my first E60 in March or April ( I would like to be able to install the "sport transmission").

Excellent information. Thanks. Anyone know if we will be able to retrofit the leather center console pieces? I would assume so and have always thought that area would look better being leather vs. vinyl.

Good info, not seen the first PDF before. Ordered my LCI E60 2 weeks ago, due to be delivered 18th May. In the end, Im not waiting for the sports autoas it'll delay delivered 6 weeks or more.
