Front quarter IMHO. See the front end and the great lines down the side, the wheels and a hint of the trunkline.

I just wish we had the European license plates instead of ours that hang down over the bumper! That would make the US front view as nice as the european.

Better yet is to live in a state that does not require a front plate (Florida in my case). Although two of my cars were purchased in Virginia so had the mandatory front plate. I ended up keeping and painted over the "official" VA stuff so just the letters/numbers appear as they are the same as my Florida Tag info. Did not bother to remove the holder as it made a mess of the bumper, etc.

My 6er, on the other hand, will NEVER get a front plate or holder or holes under penalty of death

Funny thing...I too prefer the rear quarter view - even over the front or the side.

Looking out over that beautifully curved hood from the driver's seat is my favorite view but I like the one from the front too!
