I had a 98 Lexus GS400 2 cars ago and LOVED the looks of that car (read it was supposed to be a Jag. S-Type but Jag. didn't like the look and Lexus bought it, don't know how true that is but I always believed it) and any way the first time I ever saw the look of the E60 I had to have one, I hate the look of the new GS (hate is a strong word, but I liked the old look way better) to me it looks kind of like everything else out there. You pay all that money for something you want the WOW factor, NO? I mean yes you need to like the car for yourself but you also want people to look at you, also you want something that sticks out....

I also get compliments from strangers sometimes.

There was a time in a gas station right after I just finished waxing, a lady in her 30's walked from 2 isles over to my car to compliment me on how beutiful my car looks. She proceeded to ask me how much it costs. I told her a ball park figure of $65,000 and she was astonished to find out how little it cost! She was expecting to hear $90,000...
Either she was under-informed on current car prices, or our E60 just look more expensive than they actually cost. I like to think the latter.

Well ,I just bought a roadster 350z (please no flaming) ... and my wife now drives the 530i, she loves it but the only thing she does not like is all the stares she gets. I tell her its not the car their looking at...its her.... or her D's
