+1 My wife drives our 550 90% of the time. It's her daily driver in the summer and mild winter days, snow days she takes the Rover. I get time alone with her on the weekends...oh, and my wife too.

So what do you drive? the Rover? or the John Deere machine? Does it have GPS? hehe

Normally the Rover.
She never gets to drive the JD! Never! I prefer the grass alive and green. You should see what happened to our shrubs and hedges last year when she decided to use my hedge clippers.

I certainly don't think it's a woman's car over here.

But then I think that's partly due to size. I guess in the states, the 5 qualifies as a 'compact' . Over here, it's one of the biggest cars you'll see on an average day. As such, it's pretty hard to manoeuvre around towns and even harder to park.

I know it's a sweeping generalisation, but as a consequence, many women I know wouldn't want to have to drive one.

And I have to say that, as our other car is a Mini, sometimes it's really nice to be able to nip into tose parking spaces you'd look longingly at in the 5.

i've seen mostly men in the 5's and ladies driving the 3's in the bay area. if anything...., the 5's are actually chick-magnets up here.

Here in L.A., it has more pu$$y pull than a 911.
