Maybe its just San Diego the city that I live in, but I have been seeing a lot of e60 all over the place. Everytime I spot one I notice a female driving the car. The percentage is over whelming to say the least. Did I miss the changing of the guards........when did the e60 replace the VW Jetta as the new chick car?? This is my observation, I just call it as I see it.

Z4's around my area are the female Bimmer of choice it seems (won't surprise me if that is true in most areas). Your so right on the damn Jettas. If your male and own a Jetta, I'd have to ask what the hell your thinking?

I see more females in 3 series then 5 series. But you know those females in the 5 series have men at home driving some bad ass cars if there wife is driving the 5 sereis daily.

Bimmers are chick magnet cars reguardless of series. The smart women buy one.

There aren't that many 5 series driving around here. So I cannot agree with you about so many women driving 5's. The few that I see each day are usually older men who keep them looking stock. I can honestly say (with a smile) that I am driving one of the most unique looking 5 in the this tiny little state. Last time that I was at BMW of Newport, Garry (our parts guru) commented that my car definitely stands out with the things that I've added to it. Ever since I put my new wheels on and added the different spoilers I get so many looks and complements.

Anyway, back to the original topic...most of the people around here especially women are driving 3's or X5's. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of BMW's in RI. IMO this area is more of a Lexus/Mercedes area. There are sooo many of those everywhere around here. I think every light that I stop at there is at least one RX, ES, or IS at the intersection.

I havn't seen many women driving e60s here either, usually its X3s, X5s, 1s or 3 series. So I suppose the solution could be for you to move here .

Yep, 1 whole day!!!! not enough time to wax the car even. But hey, you get to test the wipers, tire grip in the wet, the rain sensor......etc

This might be a So Cal phenomenon. When I purchased my e60 in 2005, most females here in San Diego were driving the Lexus, 3-series, or SUV.....I rarely notice any of those vehicles anyways. Over the years I have noticed more 5-series on the road...my eyes are always drawn to a car similar to the one I own. I always figure the 5-series to be too big for females to drive and they will prefer a cute 1-seriese or 3-series. Don't be suprise fellas when your mom or wife's bestfriend rolls up in a 5-series next week.
