Hey all,
I purchased a CCC Joyeauto CarPlay interface for my pre lci E60 and it is awesome.
I recently thought to install reverse cam to really enjoy the full features, but although it is wired up correctly, the camera does not display on the video screen.
Anyone else fitted one of these carplay boxes and had success connecting and running the reverse camera feature.
Before you ask - I dis try to get help from their AliExpress shop and their own tech support but it seems that when the 6 month warranty expires, all their fitting skills vaporise with it!
FTR, by interface box is wired CarPlay and it has 5 x dip switches - if you fitted one you will know what I mean.
Cheers

When I did mines, I had to tap the reverse light, that way it can feed the camera the 12v required to power it.
Additionally it had a next ground wire I believe, it was attached to the video input connector, and connected to the interface box/module.

Yeah, I connected the video wire RCA yellow to the box, took the 12v feed to the camera via the red wire that is incorporated in the video cable. Apparently these earth through the video cable but I also tried earthing the camera separately. Still nothing.
assuming you have the same JoyeAuto ccc unit, did you have to change any of the jumper switches to get the camera image up or did it just work when it detected the camera feed?
