Default E60 Cannot Find DME or CAS ZB number

He guys I've updated a few of my modules but cannot get the DME or CAS done. When i look up the ZB numbers in winKFP they dont exist./error out. I've tried searching for an updated number through the MSD80.HIS file but i come up with another number beside it that doesnt work. If i follow the trail I come up with one that is eventually recognized in winKFP but at this point I'm not sure If I'm searching correctly.

12 DME/DDE OKAY 7575926 CN56100 03.04.2007

40 CAS OKAY 9262360 CN56100 12.06.2012

That is the UIF read from my car.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you

Have you looked in INPA to see if they are listed

Yes. Those two lines are from the UIF read from INPA. When I go to identify ecu family in winKFP, it isn't found. I know it's the MSD80 (for the dme) but there are too many zb number listed in the program And I don't want to flash the wrong one.

Ok I'm understanding it now. There are 2 places you can get that number I can't remember the option but the one you read shows the modules status. You need to click on the top INPA option then to the right open it up just as you did and go to the info tab which should list all modules and have a long line of info for each module.

I had the issue with my SZL when I changed it out and found it eventually. If you need assistance I can remote in to help you out.

Please forgive me as I think I'm explaining incorrectly. I have the ZB numbers for both modules. I listed them in the first post. I obtained those numbers from INPA.
The issue I am facing is when I enter those ZB numbers into winKFP, they are not found. I believe it is because those numbers are extremely old and no longer supported or written in the newest Daten (67) that I have.
I know there is a history file, and I have looked through this. In there I find my ZB number, however, I'm not 100% sure I am using that file correctly. Beside my ZB number is another (which also is not supported in winKFP). If I search for the second number, it leads me to a third number, and so on and so forth until I find a ZB number that winKFP recognizes. My concern is that I am not 100% sure how to tell if that is the correct ZB number for my car, and if I have even looked it up correctly?

This is happening when trying to "Identify ECU family" in "Comfort Mode" where i get the following error :

Error 704:
Error on determining the ZB number!
Check assembly file

I'm concerned, and I have not tried yet, That if i try to use "Update ECU" that because it can't even find the specific ZB number, that it may go wrong.

Have you tried to drill down to the number. My ZB was old and I couldn't search for it but when I drilled down to the module I was able to find the number. Let me check my computer to make sure I'm talking about the right software
