E60 burned out

The article said that someone seen kids running from the place, and smoke coming from the a holr in the rear window, in this case vandalism.

Yes, that was very big surprise. I knew that aluminium can burn, but this is something I couldn't even think about. Melt away :'(
Btw. the car is diesel, either 530d or 535d. My guess 530d.

Yeh, that's lame. Hence why the clear plastic is so thick, to hide the fake wood.

As for that E60, never a good sight to see Makes me wanna cry. Look on the bright side.... at least he'll be getting a new LCI E60 now

wow, I guess that's what you call "well done" in burnt out car terms. that poor E60 must have been burning for some time - especially when looking at the other pictures where only parts of the car was burnt. :'(

It might have been the aluminium trim, hard to know for sure though..

Aluminium has a much lower melting point than steel, hence the damage.
