Has anyone heard of any changes to the e60 exterior design planned for Sept. 06? If there are that would be very disappointing given I am taking delivery on my car May 19 only to be outdated a few months later.
If this is true does anyone know what changes are in store?

Based upon past BMW practice the facelifted E60 is scheduled for September 07 as a 08 model. It is possible this is when it will receive the 3.0 turbo engine from E92 to make it the 535.

It will likely be very minor. I read someplace that it might be a minor tuck on the lower rear bumper. The e60 has been a huge hit. If it works why fix it? I wish that they would improve Bluetooth. I assume that it will get HD radio. Hopefully a DSG tranny similar to Audi. Maybe a new paint color or two. A cradle for the Moto RAZR phone that used the shark fin antenna would be great.

No Model change until 2010? Thats is exactly why I purchase a German BMW, in other words other companies like Lexus change their models every 4 years.
I don't think there will be body changes to the 07 e60 as the 07's here in Canada are already being "sold" on the www.bmw.ca website. Not sure if it is the same as the US?

A friend of mine over here in Germany gets these cars for testing purposes way ahead of go-to-market and has already seen the new version. He confirmed they were only minor changes outside. There have also been some "exclusive" photos in the German car press about this and to be honest, I could barely notice the difference, especially to the rear.
@ACEE
Seeing as you have ordered the m-sport pack, like myself, the changes will probably not be noticible.
