Hi everyone,
I'm new owner of a 2006 E60 530i. New to me but it's used
I used to drive a E46 2000 320i and feel this E60 is much much better ^^
However, there are some problems confused me a lot.
First is the BC button, it keep stuck in display outside temperature doesn't matter how many time i press or how long i hold. I tried to switch off the car, start ignition 1 (outside temperature not show yet, totally blank doesn't matter how long i leave) then press the BC button, outside temperature showed. So I can assume that the button did "work" , but other function like fuel consuption, etc..... all locked? Or there is something wrong the mine BC button?
Secondly, does the E60 have indicator show which door does not closed properly like in the E46? I've been gone through iDrive menu but couldn't find it.
Finnaly, is the a reverse light on the E60? I feel like on the E46 is lot more brighter? Or something wrong with my car?

Today is the 2nd day I own the car, it was great expect those problems. They are driving me nuts, googled all night to find solution
Really hope anyone can help. Thanks.

BC button sounds like it's broken. Might just need a new stalk.
there are reverse lights. Two, in fact. Get someone to look at them when you put the car in reverse or pull the handbrake as hard as you can and then put the car into reverse and quickly run back to check.
