Is it just me or the siren on the e60 weak compared to the one on the e39 ? kinda of a bummer...

I haven't heard the e39 siren but I know my e60 siren is quite ear piercing. That's why I never open the trunk with the remote because I'm worried I'll press it for too long and the siren will go off!

Mine is piecing also on the 08 E60.
Just learned that the siren is run off an auxillary battery (haven;t learned where its located as yet).... maybe that battery is low...., just my dumb guess
