e60 550i throttle response concern

my car has full dinan upgrades, engine mgmnt , throttle body , intake and exhaust ... the throttle response is dismal at best

Well, thanks for the review, that makes the ESS tune a lot more attractive. I know what that did to the M5, made it amazingly more beastly.

I think it's more of the "nanny state" - you mustn't have your V8 power all at once, you might hurt yourself, now let me chime incessantly until you buckle up!!!

Looking at the ESS tune and the top speed governor getting removed, does anyone know what the top speed of the 550 is?

The top speed of all BMWs (and nearly all German cars) is limited to 155 mph voluntarily by the manufacturer.

I know it is limited to that I meant the natural de-limited top speed. I guess I wasn't clear enough about which speed I meant.

The top speed of the M5 is around 190, as a guess I would say the 550 is somewhere near that, probably 185-190 range.
