Question E60 530xD Sluggish/hesitate uphill

Hi.

Im having a problem, which my car e60 530xD 2006, going uphill or starting to go uphill there is a about 5 seconds of lag or some sort, overall the car drives Great, no problem. Shifts great , has no powerloss on normal driving, but im having power loss on incline or uphill. feels like gearbox can't make its mind up what gear to put in. when the car is cold i notice this less, but when the car is at operating temperature it starts doing it. Sometimes i go uphill and it goes okei uphill but then it goes to ~2k RPM and changes gear up, but im pushing the pedal down and feels like a empty spot on acceleraton like pedal is not responding.
No error codes. What should i do?

All thermostats changed
EGR cleaned and looked over.
Gearbox maintance (new torque converter, oil change etc)

Any ideas ?

Does this car have sports mode and if so do you experience the same issue with it engaged?

My car (530d) seems a bit slow off the mark in non-sports mode but nothing like 5 seconds.

Transmission fluid ever been changed?

It does not occur in sportmode, only in comfort. and yes the transmisson oil has been changed. im thinking about reseting the transmission adaptions but maybe its not the best idea. They reset my adaptions and updated the firmware to latest version but i reset the adaptions by myself also, because the car launched/pushed me when i stepped slightly on the pedal to get it moving, it seemed to fix it but year later i started seeing the hesitation uphill.
