My Ride: e60 530i 2010

e60 530i 2010 outside temp

Hi I have a 530i 2010 thath is showing a outside temperature from 95F to 122F, is the sensor broke? where is the outside temp sensor?

tks, somehow the sensor in my car is up side down, the tip of the sensor is looking down.

My Ride: 2004 530i ~ 2002 X5

Mine is mounted in the center of the bottom lip of the front bumper. You could try to short the wires together, I've read that is how some people have done to calibrate it but I have no personal experience with that. I bought mine from Amazon for $10. Came with a new connector and is working great.
