I'm sorry...but when I was looking at cars, I was shocked to see a $40K+ car with only 184hp (525) No way would I ever buy a car w/ that little horse power. Then I saw the 530 with only 225hp and thought that sucked. Naturally this left the 545, which is what I purchased. I had a pontiac sunfire in high school, and I'm sure it had 163hp, which is just ridiculous to power a 5 series bmw. I'm very disappointed.

There will probably be a 520i too!
In the states at least the 525i is a 3l engine! Everywhere else it *is* a 2.5l engine...

maybe you don't realize that in other countries taxes are as high as bhp
I had to choose between a 525d and a 530d only ? 3.000,- more... I chose the 530d but changed my order back to 525d when I noticed it would cost ? 10.000,- extra just because government here only cares about their civilians when they can suck their pockets empty
UK cartaxes are giveaways compared to other countries
btw, holland is even worse... in the netherlands you ought to be shamed for earning more than the others...
