Just a question, what is the bass response like on the E60s system? On my E39 its pretty garbage, Im hoping for better on an E60, Mercs always have good sound systems even the basic ones. Also how does the 60 sound in general?

Garbage for the basic. Its like BMW is forcing people to upgrade. IMHO, the basic system should be their Hi-Fi loudspeaker system while the Logic 7 the option for those demanding really great sound system. The basic system as found on the E60 currently just doesn't fit in with the other great features of this very nice car. Its garbage as in your E39.

cheers
