Whenever I see one on the road I just stare at it and the guy/girl driving stares back?
The dealer is packed with them (Last week I was there I saw like 15, just on the front lot), there must be good opportunities to get a good deal there.

Wiu-Bimmer,

Absolutely agree with you! I cannot understand what's going on.

Just read description of you car and realized that I saw car just like yours around UT campus area couple weeks ago (I think October 30th).

When did you buy your 5er?

Serge.

Hi Serge,
Was it parked at the gym or in front of Dobie mall? I'm sure it was me. Alumni sticker on the back.
I picked up mine May 05, so far 6500 Mi.

Also, what did you think about the wheels?

Wiu-Bimmer,

Now I'm sure it was you
The wheels are freaking awesome! How much did you pay for them? What kind of tires did you put on them?

I've picked up mine April 15th. Hey, who was your salesman?

Thanks!
Serge.

Salesman was Pat M.
Since it was my first Bimmer and I did not know about this website then, my price negotiation really suxck, I did not even get quotes from dealer at SA and Dallas/Houston.

I got the wheel/tire set at ebay at a super great price, it was a nice deal, thanks BTW.
tires are 235/45-18 and 265/35-18

I had the wheels/lowering springs installed at Soulspeed, very nice shop and the owner is very knowledgeable about BMWs...

Alohalc,

I agree, note may not be a good idea after all.

I guess it's not usual for you guys to have weather like that? Since it's been raining like that maybe you want to trade your E60 for X5??

if i see the owners, i don't mind walk to them and let them know this forum .

well, this is the rain season right now. so we are kind of used to it <_<. just think potholes are all over after the rain is freaking ridiculous .

x5 ? i hardly have more than three people inside my car . if the 6 is the same price as the 5, i'd get it w/o a second thought . i just don't need a big car w/extra space and sure don't care much about the weather .

Same thing here. It was my first bimmer too, so I think I got over excited and did not check other dealers. However, I did look at Audi A6 and FX35. Still like the FX (styling and design), but handling cannot be compared to E60. I feel pretty bad for not making any research before I bought the car, otherwise I would of gotten a better deal. When I came to the dealer and looked at the car I said, that is it, I have to have it!

My salesman was Mike H.
