If not then you have to start troubleshooting beyond ISTA. This is where the dealership gets owners to spend unnecessary money because when ISTA is not correct they start guessing. Again your codes are obviously pointing to a K-Line fault to an experienced BMW mechanic. Find the issue and your lights and all the other K-Line fails will be fixed.
thanks again im no sure where that initial dump was from maybe a old dump. Here is the dump from ista and protools today no k line errors just that alc one sorry about the mix up initially

Correct your ISTA connection settings then post the error readout. As of now I don't see anything wrong with you LM so your lights should be good

In ISTA too right you see the wrench, click it. Go to connection settings and ensure it says EDIABAS. Now go to .ini file and ensure your EDIABAS settings are correct. More than likely it's your latency setting in the USB settings in device manager. Ensure it's set to 1.

Good job. Since they worked in your friend's car, that proved the headlight assy was not the culprit. Remaining suspects would be coding or a rogue module.

Good thing you got it fixed. This was the craziest thread ever. It had me all over the place Now I'm wondering if all the parts you replaced are still good.

I wonder the same maybe just the AHL was bad or rogue that I don't remember if I put that one in his car or the new used one, now i just have to adjust the sensitivity the lights are one in full sunlight, i do remember having the dealer fix this when i brought the car new and i guess the factory reset put them back to new. Ill mess with it in protools and ista after reinspection today thanks again. Now on to the other errors
