My head lights have not worked for a while now replaced all and both motors under both lights, still I get the blinking green. I am able to move both lights in test mode with ista so I know they work, I recently coded them out but always liked that function. The error seems to be a awake issue based on the error I get with ista and protool can anyone offer assistance on this wake up repair I seem to have read something about number 7 pin on ahl connector but all the old pics from 2014 are no longer available. Went to get car inspected and of course firestone said lights need to be adjusted and wants stupid money for it I told them to reject it I'll fix it and reinsert it shortly or take it to another shop any help greatly appreciated

You can adjust them manually with ISTA. did you change out the adaptive control unit (pn: 61356934837)? Just to be clear you already changed the ALC (pn:63127189312)?

Nevermind I think you told me you changed it out. We're they new modules or used? I remember when I bought a used AHL and change the ALC out my lights still didn't work. I turned out the replacement AHL was dead.

I just looked at your codes and I do not see an issue with you lights at all. You have a K CAN fault. You need to be looking at your KGM or MPM, more than likely the MPM is your fault. You'll find your issue there. If you are going to troubleshoot the program is not the one to be doing it with. It will give you codes but no way to assist you in what is actually wrong unless you know what you are doing. I would suggest you get ISTA to assist with saving you money by running a test plan and pointing you in a general area. I could be wrong and it may be your lights but I highly doubt it.
This could of been avoided if you gave us the whole picture in the beginning. Hopefully this gets you somewhere.

You have a K-Line error throughout the car. You have to solve that before you can fix your lights if there is an issue with them. You stated the parts work in your friend's car so to me there's no issue with the light system. You said ISTA pointed the ALC and you replaced it correct? Did it fix your issue? If not then you have to start troubleshooting beyond ISTA. This is where the dealership gets owners to spend unnecessary money because when ISTA is not correct they start guessing. Again your codes are obviously pointing to a K-Line fault to an experienced BMW mechanic. Find the issue and your lights and all the other K-Line fails will be fixed.
