Dynamic Drive Malfunction

My Ride: 2005 Oriental blue 545i
So i been having this error code now go on and off for the past two weeks. Although now it just stays on so i decided to take it to my mechanic and told me it was my dynamic drive valve block. So i say ok how much does it cost? FRICKIN $1263!!! so im thinking i want a second opinion anyone know any good Mechanics around the Brooklyn NY area? i replaced my battery also and that was no help. thx

WOW! $1200! I've actually been getting that error for the past two weeks too. I've actually been getting several errors on and off. Dynamic Drive, ABS, DSC, DBC, and Start Assist i took it to the dealer and it turned out to be the steering angle sensor. At least thats whats been replaced... we'll see if the errors come back.
