FYI, I have been waiting for the back ordered sensor to correct the Dynamic Drive Malfuntion error message. The parts have arrived at my local dealer. But my service person told me BMW has a new version coming in the next week or so. He thinks BMW will have to replace all of the "old" sensors with this latest version. He also said the new version would not require a software update. Anyone hear the same story? Does this make any sense to you folks? I drive my car anyway, not unsafe in my opinion.

Well, I haven't heard about this, but then my service advisor won't call me......
I would prefer waiting for the latest generation sensor, as opposed to having to possibly have it replaced twice? Especially if it means NOT having to reprogram. Does anyone have any hard data on this? Cobradave, where are you??

My father is now driving my 04 E60 545i sport 6MT, and is having this error message.
What is the fix, and how much is it out of warranty?

I got the same thing the other day because I took a corner pretty fast and it bounced a little. How do I clear the code? or is this a recall? thanks
