Dynamic Drive Malfunction?
#1
The other day, I was driving and didn't notice a pothole up ahead, turns out it was a huge pothole and shocked me quite a bit. The car took a significant drop from the hole and after that a warning light came on indicating a "Dynamic Drive Malfunction:
Increased body roll in curves. Avoid high cornering speeds. Please have the system checked by..."
I thought it wasn't a huge problem, just the system shaken up by the impact, but it keeps popping up even though the car drives fine.
Has anyone else gotten this issue before? What actions should I take?

1. When this light is on, do you experience loss of handling/stability? Does your car sway when turning rather than stay flat? If so, the DD is really inop, not just the light.
2. If this is the case, then you really should take it to a shop because you probably suffered some damage in your pothole.

Check your power steering fluid level first.
The bump might have caused a small leak or the level was getting low coincidentally.
If you say there is no difference in driving dynamics the system will still be active, you'll know the difference right away.
Good luck!

I don't notice any differences driving
Yes, it does reappear after restarting the car. It seems to come on more quickly than before, as if it's more sensitive to any changes in ground leveling. Even just backing out of the driveway, it'll come on.
I checked the power steering fluids, they're to the top.
Any more advice? Does it cost anything to get it diagnosed by BMW shop?
