Dynamic Drive failure
#1
My Sept 2005 535D was already twice in the garage for DD failure. First before the official recall was announced (I doubt that they really
did something useful that time) and second 2-3 months after the bulletin was issued. I took care to bring a copy of the relevent letter to
the garage and presume they shud have taken due dilligence to that. Now I am again receiving from time to time the bloody message on uneven roads. :'(
Anybody else with the same problem?

It has been discussed in several discussions over here.

I have made a print out of the BMW recall letter out one of the threadsI ll try to find more with search tool.
But I remember it comcerned the MY2006 cars produced from Sept 2005.

OMG I let my car in the garge two weeks ago to fix the DD for the third time. I think they upgraded the sofware at least and it helepd until
yesterday. Now I have DD failure mesagge almost each time I switch on the engine. Maybe it is just a false alarm?
Any help or advice would be much appreciated

I realize there are many possible reasons why this error message would be displayed but last year, I used to get this message when starting out each morning and it ended up being fixed by the service tech topping off a fluid. I can't remember if it was the steering fluid or some other hydraulic fluid but that's all it was so check your fluid levels!

I've got the message about 4 times in 9 months. Rebooting the car makes it go away.
