You guys with DD, just how good is it? Its probably been posted before, but before my time.
Those who have it, have you ever tested an E60 without it and how do they compare?

Dynamic Drive is unbelievable, I'm sure all of the components of the sports package contribute to make this car drive small, tight and just plain fun.

Is Dynamic Drive what is called 'Active Roll Stabalization' in the US cars??? if so it is a must have. Whichever engineer came up with it deserves a medal.
I understand that the amount of roll is actually progarmmed by software. BMW could remove all the roll, but elected to leave enough in so that the driver gets some feedback before the tires reach their limit.
Maybe some purist will complain because it detracts from the driving experience, but I think delivers a superb blend of handing and ride.

I love the ARS (or Dynamic Drive), at least when the roads are dry. Is it just me or does anyone else feel that on wet roads the car feels a little numb. I feel like I'm about to lose control. Or could it be I'm just going too fast for my own good?! I wish I could test this in a wet parking lot to see how good this ARS thing is.
