As far as I know, M sport means that M division chose the component. So an M sport dynamic drive car would have DD from BMW and shocks, springs and bump stops selected by M. This would be ideal IMHO. The standard DD car has softer shocks etc... too soft IMHO. The standard M sport car uses a stiff anti-roll bar which = significant horozontal shake over bumps, or head jaerking movements. The DD system reduces this drastically because the anti-roll bar is not connected when driving straight. So add to that stiffer shocks etc.. = perfect. I have U.S. DD and the suspension is too soft. LCI 550 ZSP in U.S. is likely to include M sport with Dynamic Drive. I will be updating components. Good luck...

I phoned the dealer today in Farnborough (UK) and of course he didn't know, but he promised to find out for me. Few hours later he phoned me back and said that it is possible - Dynamic Drive on facelifted 5 Series with M Sport suspension - this option will set you back around ?1600 (according to one of the cheaper websites, the price for this option is ?1427).
If anyone has more details about this please post.

b) AFAIK NO UK "websites" have been updated to the LCI pricelist and allowable combinations. If they have, they've beaten the BMW corporate sites to the line.

I have been yesterday to the dealer and he configured the car (535d LCI M Sport) for me on his system (production 20/06/07) and it was possible to have Dynamic Drive with M Sport. What does anyone think is worth getting this option?

One way to look at is why would anyone want anti-roll electronics and hydraulics imodifying a sports suspension?
Sounds as though you do.
BTW That production date is hugely "in the future"...

In my E61 LCI price list "229 Dynamic Drive not with 337 M-Sport pack". It's not possible.
