Dunlop winter tire recall notification

Wow, I was sooooo close to getting a set of Wintersport M3s. I've read that they are the best in their class (tirerack) and BMW offers them with their winter package (for $3,200). F&$# that now, I'm getting something else. I would imagine that this recall will hurt Dunlop's reputation very much (at least for me).
