Why are your talking years (time period) not mileage. How many miles/KMs you drove since the last change?
Millage... less than 20,000 km
LATEST UPDATE:
I went today to meet customer care manager in BMW dealer and he wonder when I showed him Information related to problems I have with the car including Dunlop tires  ) (thanks to E60.net for this information)... unfortunately, I come out with nothing .... he told me we can't change dunlop tires "tire dealers in UAE are not cooperative at all. You have to do wheel alignment and then everything will be OK"

I am having the same problem here in the UK with my 535d Sport running Goodyears, but i think Dunlop is part of Goodyear in the UK by the communication i have from them, my tyres all 4 have gone the same with the canvas showing and steel on the vert inside edge, BMW UK are finaly paying for the tyres but i want to know what is causing the problem.
It has been checked for allignment twice, the car is perfect, it has never been curbed or anything, i personaly think BMW have a problem with the geometry they are running with RFT, this is a safty problem and should have a solution found to it.
I have had had 10 BM's and i am totaly urinated off with them!!!! at the moment.

I have Dunlop RFTs and have just replaced the rears after 25,000 miles - I've gone for Dunlops again as I'm happy with the wear. Could this be a problem for the more powerful models. Also my fronts look like they have at least another 10,000 miles left on them.
I have been advised that all RFTs wear quicker than normal tyres as the stiff sidewalls put more load on the contact patch.

This thread is very interesting as today I have just had to pay for another front nearside tire, this is the second tire I have replaced on this one wheel, well when I say one wheel I would be lying as the other tire damaged the rim, apparently, so I have had new rim. What is annoying is the car is still suffering from the same problem; I get noise and vibration through the passenger foot-well at slow speed (below 30 MPH).
I need to find the other service record of the first tire replacement to confirm how many miles I have done since that tire was replaced. The car having just completed 32368 miles.

Happened to me and I nearly did a re-adjusting of alienment ($$), was told by service advisor that the inner uneven wear is normal. The cars are made to 'toe-in' at an angle for superb handling, more weight thus wear on the inner third of each wheel.
Regardless of sports package or suspension setup, AFAIK all E60s are made to behave this way.
A bit of sacrafice for the ultimate driving experience I guess.

I had a set of dunlops on my last car, Audi A4. They by far the worst tires I have tried. I would say from personal exprience with many cars and tire sets. I would suggest Toyos or Bridgestone potenza, for the money they are excellent. If money is not an issue go with the Pirelli PZero. I also have had problems with Yokohamas, they are trash.
